Móstoles has been preparing for years for the transitions that this century requires, from its policies and public services to its business network and citizen movements. And its citizens have organised everything from reflection forums to work on sustainable development along the lines of Transition Towns.

La Concejalía de Medio Ambiente, Parques y Jardines y Limpieza Viaria del Ayuntamiento de Móstoles has developed an eco-social transition plan tooted on the los 17 grandes objetivos propuestos por Naciones Unidas en los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible para el año 2030.Aiming at a collective reflection about urban models with the local population and at promoting Plan Móstoles Transita 2030, a number of actions have been arranged to engage citizen participation of all communities within Mostoles

With the aim of spreading this transition plan, as well as of validating some actions, a series of actions have been devised that aim to serve as a framework for citizen consultation and reflection, focusing on three scenarios: What will Móstoles and the world be like in 2050?, Móstoles and its commitments in 2030 and Citizen actions in 2030.
